Art and Craft Workshops at Stephen H. Smith’s - Otley, Scunthorpe and Bolton TELEPHONE YOUR LOCAL STORE FOR DETAILS OF COURSES AND FOR HOW TO BOOK.
Stephen H. Smith provides the venue for these workshops - but everything else is handled by the self employed tutors, including taking bookings, cancellations and collection of fees (which are non-refundable except in the case of workshop cancellation due to tutor illness for example). Stephen H. Smith can not be held responsible for disputes with tutors, for workshop content, for accidents or accidental damage caused during workshops - you attend workshops entirely at your own risk. Please wear suitable clothing - some workshops may be messy. We hope you will have a fun time!
COURSES ARE HELD AT our craft workshop rooms.
LUNCH BREAK All full day workshops ONE HOUR FOR LUNCH 12:30 to 1:30pm – enjoy a break with your friends at our Restaurant, located within the main garden centre.
WORKSHOP FEES Must be paid directly to tutors – you are buying this service from the tutor and not from Stephen H. Smith.
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT Please check with the tutor which materials and equipment will be provided for your workshop and what you need to bring with you.
COURSES AVAILABLE USUALLY INCLUDE Card making, pop up cards using various media, mini brag books and boxes, scrapbooking, parchment craft, watercolour and acrylic painting techniques made easy, stencilling, jewellery making and rubber stamping. |

6 Craft Tutors in attendance crafts include: General card-making using an assortment of craft materials, parchment craft, scrapbooking, jewellery making, rubber stamping and watercolour painting. Linda Wardman - General Card Making
Linda makes exquisite general cards for all occasions, with themed cards for certain times of the year, eg. Easter, Mothers/Fathers Day, and Christmas etc.
She uses interesting folding techniques, with 3D work and used lots of punches, embellishments and ribbons to make the card look really special.
Classes: three mornings per week in term time, 10am - 1pm. |

Bill Belshaw - Watercolour, Oil & Acrylic Painting.
Bill has a very humorous way of teaching painting using oils on
Wednesday afternoons, and some Friday and Saturday sessions too, using watercolours.
He has recently exhibited some of his beautiful paintings in an exhibition in London.

Anne Quinn - Parchment Craft. Visit Anne's website at: www.annequinn.org.uk
Anne has taught Parchment Craft since 1996, and regularly has projects in Parchment Craft magazine, which is sold all over the world. She specialises in gridwork, dry pencils and whitework and uses her own calligraphy on the cards. Teaches on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays, on 4-6 days per month - full days from 10am to 4pm. |

Catherine - Scrapbooking
Catherine has taught Scrapbooking - making Memory Albums, for three years, and uses a variety of techniques to preserving your treasured photos in beautifully decorated albums. She has lots of different equipment to demonstrate in class and lend out to students to make these books of memories. One Saturday and Sunday per month. |

Sarah gained a degree in Metalsmithing and Jewellery at Leicester De Montfort University, and now specialises in teaching jewellery making, using glass beads and crystals.
Recently making her own silver wedding tiara with crystals, she also makes necklaces, bracelets, earrings, using a variety of beading, threading and wiring techniques.
One Saturday or Sunday per month, full days. |

Nikki - Rubber Stamping
Nikki has taught rubber stamping on cards for the past couple of years, using a variety of techniques for stamping, embossing and colouring for different themes throughout the year.
Her very different artistic way of finishing the card off after stamping, is certain to please.
She uses embellishments, ribbons and glitters to enhance the beauty of the card. |
